Due to the limitations of infrastructure in the central region of Vietnam, few visitors can reach the villages of Cotu ethnic minorities. Traveling by Hoi An Motorcycle Tour Adventures is the best way to experience these areas, with an insight into the life of ethnic minority people and the beautiful landscape of central Vietnam.
We ride to a pottery village and then fishing villages just outside Hoi An, before riding through the rice paddies and visiting a Cham temple. Then, we start to climb the mountains, stopping for lunch next to a spring where you can enjoy a welcome swim in a natural pool and relax a bit. We will go into a few ethnic minority villages, including a weaving village. We’ll stop and meet some central highland villagers and learn about the history and agriculture of the regions.
In the morning, we wake up early and the tour guide will take you to the local markets, which are only open for one hour every other day. This is where the ethnic minorities sell their produce and buy anything they need for the next two days. We follow the Ho chi Minh Trail, climbing to 3000 feet above sea level, very close to the border of Laos. The Tour Guide will share local history prior to the war as well as the effects of the war on the local area.
